Physical Therapist – Orthopedic & TMJD Specialist  

About the Role: Mind Body Physiotherapy is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist with strong orthopedic skills and an interest in systems-based thinking to join our team. We provide one-on-one patient care where you’ll have the time and space to deliver focused, high-quality treatment from start to finish with every patient.

We built Mind Body Physiotherapy on the belief that the best clinicians integrate multiple systems to work through complex cases that don't respond to standard protocols. In every session, you will have the opportunity to build a genuine therapeutic relationship with your patient, not just complete a visit count. That relationship is often what makes the difference for patients working through chronic or complicated presentations.

The Ideal Candidate

• Texas-licensed DPT 
• Strong orthopedic clinical skills required
• Dry needling certification preferred
• Experience with TMJ (temporomandibular joint) treatment preferred, not required; we provide extensive in-house training
• PRI credentialed or on the path preferred, not required
• Strong manual therapy skills
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills, able to earn a patient's trust and keep them engaged in their own care, not just compliant with it
• Comfortable discussing and addressing the broader factors that affect pain as part of a patient's care plan
• Values mentorship and prefers quality over volume

Responsibilities

• Work through complex orthopedic cases with a systems approach
• Build a plan of care that shifts as the patient does, rather than following the same protocol from week one to discharge
• Interdisciplinary communication with healthcare providers to ensure consistent, holistic patient care
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical records (e.g., initial evaluations, SOAP notes, and progress reports) in accordance with regulatory standards
• Be the patient's biggest cheerleader on the hard days and the firm hand that keeps them accountable to their program
• Work collaboratively with other PTs and providers on shared cases, trading insights, and be able to learn from each other
• Stay flexible as the clinic grows, and help with patient education and marketing efforts when needed

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: $82,500/year
• 1:1 60-minute treatment sessions
