Our client is seeking an onsite Financial Controller to lead our local accounting operations and drive financial excellence in a fast-paced environment. Reporting to the Director of Finance, this position is responsible for delivering accurate, timely financial reporting while maintaining strong accounting practices, internal controls, and operational support. As a key member of the Finance leadership team, the Controller will lead daily accounting operations, oversee payroll for more than 1,000 associates, develop the accounting team, and provide meaningful financial insight to resort leadership.

Financial Leadership: Oversee day-to-day accounting functions, ensuring accurate and timely monthly closing and financial reporting. Internal Controls: Maintain, audit, and improve robust internal control structures to safeguard high-volume cash flow and resort assets. Operational Oversight: Partner with department heads to manage budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and cost-control initiatives. Mentorship: Supervise and develop the onsite accounting team, fostering a culture of accuracy and accountability.

Requirements Ideal Candidate Holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA is a major plus) with deep knowledge of GAAP. Possesses 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within the hospitality industry and has managed the financials for multiple properties. Demonstrates strong proficiency in enterprise-level hospitality property management systems and advanced Excel. Dynamic Communicator that thrives in a fast-paced environment, translates data into operational strategy, and collaborates effortlessly across teams.
