Work Environment\n

This remote position offers the flexibility to work from home while serving clients through a secure and user-friendly online platform. You will have the support of a collaborative team environment, where case consultations and team meetings are conducted via video conferencing. This setting allows for a balanced work-life integration, with a structured schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients to evaluate the intensity, frequency, and duration of their mood disorder symptoms, utilizing structured clinical interviews and standardized screening tools.

• Tailor individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, ensuring alignment with their unique preferences, needs, and therapeutic goals.

• Implement evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) in individual and group settings.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and effective self-care practices to maximize engagement and support.

• Monitor and document client progress meticulously, making adjustments to treatment plans based on ongoing evaluations and feedback.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care, ensuring holistic support for clients with concurrent treatment needs.

• Stay informed on the latest research and developments in mood disorders to enhance treatment approaches and advocate for evidence-based practices.

• Maintain comprehensive and confidential records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring client privacy is strictly upheld.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work closely with clients struggling with a range of mood disorders, including, but not limited to, depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Our client base may include individuals from diverse backgrounds, including homeless populations, refugees, and victims of domestic abuse, requiring a compassionate and culturally competent approach to therapy.

Qualifications\n

• An active and current state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) .

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.
