Job Title Travel RN – NICU Location Dallas, Texas Schedule / Job Type Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Full-Time | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Three 12-hour shifts per week | Rotating weekends and holidays | Onsite Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in a 108-bed NICU with patient ratios ranging from 1:1 to 1:4 Manage care for neonatal patients including premature infants, utilizing equipment such as nasal cannula, bubble CPAP, ventilators, oscillators, IV pumps, NIRS, warmers, and isolettes Perform and assist with unit procedures including central line insertions, circumcisions, exploratory laps, gastroschisis reductions, and PDA ligations Manage central lines and provide respiratory management up to and including care of intubated patients Care for trach infants and patients with broviacs as needed Float to related units (PICU, Pediatrics, CICU) per unit policy, providing care for patients under 2 years of age Required Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum 1 year of Level III NICU experience Experience caring for premature infants 28 weeks gestational age and above Proficiency in central line management and respiratory management including intubated patients Current BLS certification Current NRP certification Preferred Experience / Skills Experience with surgical neonatal patients including cardiac patients Experience caring for infants under 27 weeks gestational age Familiarity with documentation systems such as CPN and Meditech Experience with trach infants and broviac management Why Join Us Work in a well-staffed, high-acuity NICU supported by a multidisciplinary team including RNs, LVNs, PCTs, and Nurse Externs Gain hands-on experience with advanced neonatal equipment and complex procedures in a large, established neonatal unit Concentric Healthcare Staffing Job ID 774208.
