Electrical Technician

Reporting to the Shop Supervisor, an Electrical Technician will conduct repetitive bench or line assembly operations to produce a high quantity of product/system assemblies without sacrificing quality. Primary Responsibilities Assemble and wire electrical and mechanical systems, including cable harnesses and other wired mechanical assemblies. Neatly solder, route and terminate wiring in a variety of applications. Experience with IPC-620 and/or J-STD electrical standards is preferred Effectively communicating engineering or manufacturing issues with others. Perform other job-related duties as assigned Knowledge and Skill Proficient in reading, understanding, and building to mechanical prints and electrical schematics or run sheets. Proficient with soldering Experience with pin and lug crimpers is preferred Neatness and attention to detail. Teamwork and strong orientation skills. Proficient with all common hand tools and measuring equipment. A thorough knowledge of electrical/electronic components and equipment, including the use of special instruments for diagnostic purposes. Experience and ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
