Hospitalist Physician Killeen TX
$200–$300/Hour | 2–3 Hour Shifts | Flexible Schedule | APP Support
We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Family or Internal Medicine Physician to join our team as a Part-Time Hospitalist at an inpatient post-rehabilitation hospital in Killeen, TX.
This is an excellent opportunity for a physician looking for short shifts, flexible scheduling, and strong hourly compensation. The position works particularly well for physicians looking to supplement an existing schedule or work during off weeks.
Schedule & Compensation
Approximately $200–$300 per hour
Part-time 2–3-hour shifts Round approximately 3–4 times per week
Rotational schedule with another physician
Flexible start and end times
APP support to assist with daily documentation
What You'll Do
Round on patients in an inpatient post-rehabilitation setting
Assist with new admissions
Evaluate and manage more complex follow-up patients
Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions
Coordinate care with APPs and the interdisciplinary clinical team
Provide compassionate, patient-centered medical care
Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
Qualifications
MD or DO Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family or Internal Medicine
Active Texas medical license or ability to obtain
Federal DEA registration
Texas controlled substance registration or eligibility
Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills
