Job Title

Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Labor and Delivery unit within an acute care Magnet-designated hospital
• Perform sterile vaginal exams as part of routine Labor and Delivery assessment and monitoring
• Circulate in the Labor and Delivery operating environment as required by unit needs
• Utilize Epic electronic health record system for accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Adapt to unit staffing needs, including weekend assignments and floating between facilities within the state as required

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery RN experience (required; no exceptions)
• Active California RN license in hand at time of submission (no pending licenses accepted)
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
• AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification
• Ability to circulate and perform sterile vaginal exams
• Prior travel nursing experience required (first-time travelers will not be considered)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification
• Experience working in large acute care hospital settings
