Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and recognize all guests according to company standards, anticipating and meeting their service needs, and thanking them with sincere appreciation.
• Responsible for providing a high level of service in our bar area, ensuring guests enjoy their time with us.
• Take and serve drink orders precisely and efficiently.
• Ensure guest satisfaction by attending to their needs promptly.
• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and liquors.
• Follow standardized recipes and hotel guidelines for beverage preparation.
• Ensure all beverages are presented attractively and meet hotel quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including counters, equipment, and glassware.
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies as needed.
• Process payments accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate cash register records and report any discrepancies to the manager.
• Work closely with other bar staff and hotel team members to ensure smooth operation of the bar.
• Assist in training new staff as needed.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to improve service and efficiency.
• Comply with all relevant health, safety, and alcohol service regulations.
• At the end of each closing shift, secure liquor, beers, wines, refrigerators, cabinets, and storage areas. Complete closing tasks.
• Prepare a daily shopping list to maintain a healthy inventory level as indicated by the manager.
• Follow all company safety and security policies; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions to the supervisor; and complete safety training and certifications.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support the team to achieve common goals.
• Ensure that the uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
• Ensure compliance with expectations and quality standards.
• Perform other reasonable tasks requested by supervisors.

Qualifications

• Hospitality-oriented
• Previous experience as a Bartender or in a similar position in a high-end hospitality environment.
• Responsible Alcohol Service certification or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to handle difficult situations effectively.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently, especially under pressure.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Technical knowledge of beverages and experience in the field.
• Bilingual (English and Spanish).
