CNC Programmer

Join an established firearms and gunsmithing manufacturer with decades of experience in producing reliable, precision-engineered firearms and related components for commercial, sporting, and professional use. The company is recognized for its commitment to quality craftsmanship, durable manufacturing standards, and consistent performance within the firearms industry. Key Responsibilities Program 2–5 axis CNC mills and lathes (including mill-turn/live tooling) Develop work instructions, tooling lists, and operation sheets Set up and machine complex prototype and production parts Optimize programs to reduce cycle times and improve efficiency Troubleshoot and modify existing CNC programs Support automation initiatives and process improvements Requirements 5+ years CNC programming (CAM required; Mastercam preferred) 5+ years 3D modeling (SolidWorks preferred) Ideally worked with Okuma Controls. Strong hands-on machining experience Proficient in G-code, blueprint reading, and GD&T Experience with inspection tools and metrology Familiar with Lean Manufacturing principles Strong problem-solving, math, and communication skills Additional Info Office and shop floor environment Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and work on-site Occasional travel may be required This postion is a Full time Direct Hire. #J-18808-Ljbffr Holt Technical Staffing
