What puts you on our shortlist for machinist:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of machining or related industry experience
• Hands-on experience operating manual lathes and mills
• Working knowledge of machining techniques, materials, and tolerances
• Associate degree in a mechanical or technical field (preferred)
• Experience in process control or similar industries (preferred)
• Ability to diagnose and resolve machining or process issues
• Experience with Fisher and Final Control products (preferred, not required)

What you'll do behind the machine:

• Set up machines and tooling for production machining
• Operate manual lathes and mills
• Read and machine parts from blueprints, drawings, and samples
• Machine components from raw castings and bar stock
• Perform repair and touch-up machining while maintaining critical dimensions
• Conduct dimensional and visual inspections on finished parts
• Complete inspection reports and maintain required documentation
• Apply shop math, including trigonometry, in daily operations
• Select appropriate cutting tools, speeds, feeds, and coolant
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Follow all company safety, quality, and operational procedures
• Participate in safety and quality initiatives as required
