Job details and duties for Welding Technician :

• Consistently produces quality welds per Company standards
• Ensures uniform, presentable weld appearance
• Adjusts welding equipment and techniques for consistent results
• Performs basic welding machine maintenance
• Suggests process enhancements
• Collaborates with team to maximize productivity
• Interprets blueprint drawings accurately
• Completes tasks assigned by management
• Meets production targets
• Participates in inventory checks
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications for Welding Technician :

• 0-6 months of prior MIG (Aluminum) welding in manufacturing experience preferred
• Basic math skills; ability to use tape measure or other measuring device and use calculator as needed
• Basic computer skills, ability to learn internal programs
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Use of PPE equipment as required
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
• Ability to work in fluctuating temperatures
• Ability to stand for duration of shift
• Ability to squat, stoop, bend, kneel, twist and reach
