As an Assistant Branch Manager, your primary role will be to support the Branch Manager in overseeing daily operations of our Lansing branch servicing builders and contractors as well as providing hands‑on customer service and warehouse direction by implementing corporate initiatives to achieve both personal and corporate goals. This role is critical to bridge frontline team members with branch management, placing you on the path of manager in training. Essential Functions Of Position Assist Branch Manager with the operations of the branch including dispatching and vehicle maintenance, inventory management, customer service training, safety initiatives, and various bookkeeping functions Lead customer service team by example by providing exceptional customer service Serve as a backup to Branch Manager in processing payroll to corporate office when needed Step in to lead the team when the Branch Manager is absent Perform other duties as assigned A successful Assistant Branch Manager candidate must be career‑oriented, highly motivated, possess strong leadership skills, and have the ability to solve problems quickly and effectively.
