HUB Operations Lead The HUB Operations Lead is responsible for the day‑to‑day operations and workflow of all HUB functions, including execution of store HUB order fulfillment, inventory control, and all associated processes. Depending on the size and scope, the Lead may oversee one or more team members such as HUB Inventory Specialists and HUB drivers. The role requires good knowledge of store systems, basic parts knowledge, interpersonal skills, and prior experience leading other team members. The Lead must network with nearby stores, hubs, PDQ, and external suppliers to fulfill orders, maintain HUB company standards, and may need MVR certification and completion of all training materials with attendance at store meetings. Primary Responsibilities Manage HUB operations and resolve HUB orders and processes in a timely manner. Provide direction, organize and delegate work, and ensure execution for HUB related team members (Hub / Loop Drivers and Hub Inventory Specialists). Review HUB orders, pull parts, stage product, finalize paperwork. Coordinate with internal and third‑party drivers on paperwork and instructions. Engage the store–facility network to determine part sourcing and logistics solutions; work with ordering store for fulfillment options if unavailable in network. Collaborate with GM, DM, and CSC support for proper inventory mix and levels. Ensure inventory accuracy for the parts department and HUB inventory, including on‑hand accuracy, shrink results, cycle counts, outages, planograms, maxi changes, price changes, front & face, truck lead. Maintain HUB records and comply with all paperwork policies and procedures. Urgently communicate any risks or concerns regarding order fulfillment or shipments to the appropriate store leaders. Lead stocking activities from replenishment orders, including scanning in product and ensuring completion within 24 hours. Secondary Responsibilities Perform additional inventory activities including overstocks, callbacks, resets. Safely deliver parts to customers as needed. Assist with front‑room inventory functions, cores, and defects. Maintain store cleanliness (floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot). Provide support with MOD and other store‑related actions as needed. Success Factors Friendly communication. Ability to locate and stock parts. Safety knowledge and skills. Essential Job Skills Proficient oral and written communication; basic math computations. Prior retail experience with basic merchandising and inventory management skills. Operate inventory systems, POS, and parts lookup systems. Operate forklift (if certified), pallet jack, hand jack, and hand truck. Neat appearance and unbias customer service. Stable work record and performance results. Flexible hours, including nights and weekends. Immediate reporting of any company policy violations. May require MVR certification. Education and Certifications High school diploma or GED. No additional certifications required. Physical Demands Predominantly walking or standing. Required to talk, hear, use hands and fingers, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds. Requires close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Work Environment Primarily inside; sometimes outside. Exposure to weather conditions, moving mechanical parts, high or precarious places, chemicals, electrical shock, explosives, vibration. Noise level usually moderate.
