Levelland ISD Food Service EmploymentLevelland ISD is looking for qualified food service employees. Advancement opportunities may be available for those interested in future management positions.Primary Purpose:Prepare and serve appropriate quantities of food to meet menu requirements. Maintain high standards of quality in food production, sanitation, and safety practices.Qualifications:Education/Certification:None specifiedTraining:Six (6) hours of training is required by the Texas Department of Agriculture annually. This can be conducted by the district's food service department or Region 17 Education Service Center in Lubbock.Special Knowledge/Skills:Ability to understand food preparation and safety instructionsWorking knowledge of kitchen equipment and food production proceduresAbility to operate large and small kitchen equipment and toolsAbility to perform basic arithmetic operationsExperience:None
