Job Opportunity – Operating Room Nurse – Georgia

Start Date: October 2026

Location: Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Variable schedule including weekends and call requirements to be discussed during interview. Assignment includes holiday blackout dates (Thanksgiving week and end-of-year holidays). Patient ratio 1:1.

Highlights:

• Multi-specialty Operating Room with diverse service lines including Bariatrics, Urology, Neurology, ENT, Oral Surgery, Plastics, Transplant, Ophthalmology, General Surgery, GYN, and Orthopedics
• Epic charting system in use
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, physical therapy, and rapid response teams
• Adult and geriatric patient populations
• Orientation provided with specialty-specific modules completed during orientation period
• Maximum 7 days of requested time off per contract, must be finalized at time of submission

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of Operating Room experience prior to travel assignment (hard stop requirement)
• Required experience in Neurology, Transplant (solid organ), General Surgery, GYN, and Orthopedics procedures (hard stop requirement)
• Minimum 3 years total nursing experience; first-time travelers not accepted
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Current BLS certification
• Georgia RN license or compact license required at time of submission
• Epic EMR experience required
• Experience with community hospitals preferred; Trauma Level I or II experience preferred
• Proficiency in procedures including but not limited to: craniotomy, laminectomy, lumbar fusion, organ donation procedures, transplant surgeries, total joint replacements, laparoscopic procedures, and various general surgery cases

Additional Information:

Floating within facility and scope of practice, including to outpatient settings as needed. Full compliance required to start on time; delayed compliance results in start date adjustment due to bi-weekly orientation schedule. All requested time off must be finalized at submission and cannot be modified after offer acceptance. No time off requests permitted during orientation week.
