Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Vice President of Construction to lead our residential housing portfolio.

You will oversee all multi-family and single-family development projects from design to completion. This role requires extensive experience with Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) regulations. You will manage construction teams, control budgets, and ensure projects meet high standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead all residential construction operations and project management teams.
• Oversee compliance with HUD guidelines and multi-family funding requirements.
• Manage multi-million dollar budgets, contracts, and master schedules.
• Select and negotiate contracts with general contractors and vendors.
• Collaborate with executive leadership on land acquisition and design phases.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety, zoning, and building codes.
• Drive value engineering to optimize costs without sacrificing project quality.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum 10 years in large-scale residential construction management.
• HUD Expertise: Proven track record managing HUD-insured or HUD-funded projects.
• Leadership: At least 5 years in an executive or senior management role.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Skills: Strong negotiation, financial forecasting, and strategic planning abilities.
• Location: Must reside near or be willing to relocate to Lincoln, NE.
