Job Description Nocturnist Physician – Aberdeen and Bel Air, MD We have an opportunity for a BE/BC Internal Medicine Nocturnist Physician to join our well-established Hospital Medicine service at University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Health locations in Bel Air and Aberdeen. ABOUT THE ROLE Full-service hospitalist practice at University of Maryland (UM) Upper Chesapeake Health locations in Bel Air and Aberdeen Part of the University of Maryland Medical System University hospital with excellent specialty support Average 15 patients/day Closed ICU, our team is not expected to perform procedures or run codes Staffing Model: 23 providers; 12 physicians/11 APPs -Day: 10 Physicians and 7 APPs -Swing: 1 APP -Night: 2 Physicians and 3 APPs EMR: EPIC Beds 257 Trauma Level – Level II Graduate of an accredited Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program Responsibilities include admissions unit-based rounding, discharges, and daily multidisciplinary rounds, geographic rounds, participant in rapid response and code team.
