Job Summary

Registered Nurse, Cardiac Cath Lab. This 13-week assignment provides daytime coverage for adult and geriatric patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. The role includes rotating weekday scheduling, on-call coverage, weekend and holiday coverage, and recent cardiac catheterization laboratory scrubbing experience.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Two years of experience required, including recent cardiac catheterization laboratory or interventional scrubbing experience; active MD or compact Registered Nurse license; Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
• Preferred Qualifications: Community hospital experience and electronic health record charting experience preferred.
• Schedule: Day shift, four 10-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, totaling 40 hours per week; rotating weekdays as needed, with required weekday, weekend, and holiday on-call coverage.
• Additional Information: Provides care for adult and geriatric patients in cardiac catheterization laboratories and a hybrid operating room. Procedures include intra-aortic balloon pump support, Rotablator, Shockwave, structural heart procedures, patent foramen ovale closure, transcatheter aortic valve replacement, MitraClip, and Watchman procedures. Required skills include diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization, cardiac stent placement, cardioversion, dysrhythmia management, procedural sedation, sheath removal and monitoring, vascular closure, transesophageal echocardiography, left and right heart catheterization, and percutaneous coronary interventions. Flu vaccination is required without exemptions.
