Material Handler / General Labor Location: Independence, MO Pay Rate: Starting at $18.00/hour Schedule: 4×10-hour day shifts (final schedule to be confirmed) Assignment Length: 6-month temporary project with potential to extend Position Overview Penmac Staffing is hiring Material Handlers / General Labor Associates to support a federally regulated manufacturing facility in Independence, MO. This role involves hands‑on work in material handling, packaging, shipping, and general production tasks. The assignment is expected to last about six months, with the possibility of extension or temp‑to‑hire based on performance and business needs. Responsibilities for the Material Handler / General Labor Associate Perform general labor tasks in a manufacturing environment Package, label, and prepare products for shipment Move, stage, and organize materials and finished goods Assist with shipping and receiving activities Follow written instructions, safety procedures, and quality standards Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors Perform other duties as assigned Requirements for the Material Handler / General Labor Associate Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 40–50 lbs as needed Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Dependable attendance and punctuality Must meet all facility access requirements Identification Requirement (Federal Compliance) Due to federal regulations, all workers must present one of the following to enter the facility: A valid REAL ID, OR A valid photo ID and an original or certified birth certificate Equal Opportunity Employer Penmac is an Equal Opportunity Employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr Penmac Staffing Services, Inc.
