Senior Electrical Engineer

Senior Electrical Engineer (PE) We are partnering with a well-\u2011established, employee-\u2011focused engineering consulting firm seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join its growing MEP team. What You\'ll Do Lead the design and analysis of electrical building systems from concept through construction. Prepare calculations, specifications, reports, and construction documents in accordance with applicable codes and industry standards. Perform site assessments, field investigations, and technical evaluations. Collaborate directly with clients to understand project goals and deliver practical engineering solutions. Review designs, calculations, specifications, and project documentation to ensure quality and accuracy. Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership across project teams. Assist in resolving construction-phase and field-related engineering challenges. Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated project solutions. Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and engineering best practices. Participate in client meetings, presentations, and business development efforts. Qualifications Bachelor\'s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. Professional Engineer (PE) license required. 7+ years of experience in building systems design within a consulting engineering environment (10-12+ years preferred). Strong understanding of power distribution, lighting, emergency power, fire alarm, and building electrical systems. Experience with electrical analysis, code compliance, and quality control. Proficiency with specification development, Bluebeam or Adobe, and Microsoft Office. Excellent communication, leadership, and client relationship skills. Ability to mentor technical staff and collaborate across disciplines. Ability to travel occasionally as project needs require. U.S. citizenship is required due to project requirements.
