Sr level technical person - some design and architecture and hands-on in development work, cloud tech background, cloud certifications, AWS or Azure. Five years experience in design work, Memphis-based - phone iv first, then technical iv with technical team (design problem they'd have to solve), then pull in stakeholders for culture.

Please explain the business needs that are going to be accomplished by the software that the candidate will be working on.

Processes to ingest data and user submit through system – pull into repository – available to backend tools. Data will come in as result of these tools – serving back up to user. Must have security around it and HIPAA compliance/regulatory requirements end user is in.

Is this position front-end, back-end or full stack development? Full stack / architect level – working with current software architect and designing systems/flow from start, will need to be hands-on dev work as well.

Front-end Development Questions:

What does/will the software use for its Main View Technology? (such as JSP, ASPs or HTML and JavaScript)

Back end Nodejs, Springboot, HTML, bootstrap.

Are there any JavaScript Technologies the Candidate should be familiar with? (such as Angular, React, JQuery, etc.)

React, have used Angular in past.

Will the Candidate require advanced knowledge of Node.js beyond compilation and configuration of JavaScript for the front-end?

Yes.

What is/are the Main Language(s) that the software will be developed in?

Java, node.js, react, springboot, javascript, bootstrap, jquery.

Java Questions (ask if position requires Java knowledge):

What J2EE components (if any) would the Candidate need to know in order to be successful? (such as JMS, JaaS, JAX-B, etc.)

No.

Is the Application using any Server-side Libraries or Frameworks? (such as Spring, Struts)

Application hasn’t been developed yet.

Do you require the developer to know Spring Boot?

If so, any good mid-level+ Java developer who knows the underlying aspects of Spring in general (for Dependency Injection, creating web services, wiring together the annotations, etc.) can easily pick up Spring Boot. Spring Boot just makes creating and wiring applications together easier. I don’t want to turn away good candidates who might be a good fit, if Spring Boot is absolutely needed, we can put them through a boot camp to train up candidates who don’t have that experience?
