Project Management Assistant

Project Manager Assistant - PA0626 Sanders Brother Construction is currently seeking a Project Manager (PM) Assistant to support project managers and engineers. This is primarily an administrative role requiring regular verbal and electronic communication regarding project status and project support requirements. Role and Responsibilities Develop, track and process subcontracts, work orders and subcontractor invoices Ensure the project manager requested subcontracts are approved prior to start of project Process, organize, and update change orders, contracts, subcontracts, work orders, delays, request for information, submittals, test reports, inspection logs and underground utility locates Create underground utility locate/excavation tickets based on the plans as required by law Create and update Disadvantaged Business Enterprise & Small Business Enterprise commitment reports Process and maintain up to date job access requirements for government, public and private sector jobs per contract Resolve customer complaints and concerns on Company projects Communicate with vendors regarding contracts and payments for work completed Maintain electronic filing system that provides easy access to contractual documents for projects Maintain GPS time audit for all Company departments on a weekly basis Process subcontract invoices and all subcontract change orders Work with project management staff from all departments to provide smooth operations for all projects Qualifications and Education Requirements Associates degree in Office Administration, Business or related field or a minimum of 4 years' experience in construction contract or office administration Proficient with MS Office with the desire to learn the company's accounting software.
