Benefits: Supplemental Insurance Paid Holidays Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Position Summary CMGA Insurance is seeking an experienced Claims Manager to lead the daily operations of our Auto Claims Department. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, ensuring quality claim handling, maintaining regulatory compliance, and developing a high-performing claims team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Texas auto claims, including Property Damage (PD), Bodily Injury (BI), Total Loss, and Subrogation, along with a proven track record of leading teams, improving processes, and delivering exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities Manage the daily operations and performance of the Auto Claims Department. Lead, coach, and develop claims supervisors, adjusters, and support staff. Oversee complex claims involving coverage, liability, PD, BI, Total Loss, Subrogation, litigation, and attorney-represented files. Monitor claim quality, productivity, cycle times, reserves, and compliance with company standards and Texas regulations. Conduct file audits and provide technical guidance to ensure consistent claims handling and sound claim decisions. Analyze performance metrics and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction. Collaborate with underwriting, legal counsel, SIU, vendors, and executive leadership to resolve complex claims and improve operations. Manage escalated customer issues and support strategic departmental initiatives. Qualifications 7+ years of Texas auto claims experience, including complex liability and attorney-represented claims. 3+ years of claims management or supervisory leadership experience. Strong expertise in Property Damage (PD), Bodily Injury (BI), Total Loss, Subrogation, coverage analysis, liability investigations, and claim negotiations. Active Texas All-Lines Adjuster License preferred. Thorough knowledge of Texas insurance regulations and industry best practices. Experience with claims management systems and Microsoft Office. Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, and organizational skills. THIS IS AN IN-PERSON POSITION NEAR THE GALLERIA AREA IN HOUSTON, TX.
