• 24-7 emergency and specialty referral hospital with active services in emergency and critical care, internal medicine, surgery, oncology, diagnostic imaging, and dermatology
• Board-certified specialists and credentialed technicians working in a coordinated model with ER-ICU teams, clinical coordinators, and dedicated administration
• On-site advanced imaging: MRI, CT, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, and digital radiography
• In-house STAT laboratory for rapid diagnostics

The Role

• Provide comprehensive oncology consultations, case workups, and staging using in-house diagnostics and imaging
• Develop individualized treatment plans and oversee chemotherapy and related medical oncology therapies
• Collaborate closely with internal medicine, surgery, diagnostic imaging, emergency, and ICU teams for integrated care
• Guide clinical staff, participate in rounds, and support ER-ICU clinicians with oncology input
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with pet owners, ensuring informed decisions and thorough follow-up
• Contribute to service development, quality improvement, and professional training initiatives

Requirements

• DVM or equivalent
• Board-certified in Medical Oncology or residency-trained and board-eligible
• Current New York veterinary license or ability to obtain
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Strong communicator with a collaborative mindset and comfort managing complex, high-acuity cases in a 24-7 referral environment
