Director of Sales & Marketing

The Role We are looking for a Director of Sales & Marketing to build and lead our revenue operations. This is an opportunity for a builder. You will initially take direct ownership of our sales pipeline—working directly with operators to refine our sales process, conduct software demos, and close deals. As you achieve specific revenue milestones and build momentum, your focus will expand to hiring and managing a dedicated internal sales team. What You Will Do: Drive Revenue: Manage the full sales cycle from initial outreach to closing multi-year contracts, effectively selling both our software platform and our professional services. Execute Pipeline Strategy: Personally execute outbound campaigns and take hands‑on ownership of our lead generation systems to optimize our existing database of industry contacts. Lead Marketing Initiatives: Oversee our annual marketing strategy, manage our presence at key industry conferences, and collaborate with our in‑house design team on targeted collateral. Scale the Department: Establish the metrics, CRM workflows, and processes required to eventually hire and lead a high‑performing sales team. What We Are Looking For: Proven experience in B2B sales, ideally within SaaS, engineering, or the Oil & Gas sector. A hands‑on leader who is comfortable generating pipeline and closing deals directly while simultaneously building the long‑term department structure. The ability to grasp technical concepts quickly and communicate them effectively to highly technical buyers (engineers, compliance officers). Experience selling comprehensive solutions (software + services) rather than just single‑product transactions. Bachelor's Degree preferred, or equivalent successful experience in B2B technical sales.
