Reports To: Medical Director 1. POSITION SUMMARY The position summary describes a full time Developmental Behavioral Pediatrician role providing evaluation and management of developmental, behavioral, and neurodevelopmental conditions in children and adolescents. The clinician will join an established pediatric service line within a multidisciplinary environment that includes pediatric subspecialists, behavioral health professionals, and coordinated care programs. 2. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES • Provide clinical care for children with developmental, behavioral, and neurodevelopmental conditions.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations, follow up visits, and ongoing management.
• Collaborate with pediatric subspecialists and behavioral health professionals.
• Participate in multidisciplinary clinics as applicable.
• Utilize standard diagnostic tools and evidence based treatment approaches.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Participate in shared call supported by a telephone nurse advisory system.
• Adhere to organizational policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Perform additional standard clinical duties as appropriate for pediatric practice. 3. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics. 4. • Participate in multidisciplinary clinics such as diagnostic and neurodevelopmental follow up programs.
• Coordinate care with pediatric subspecialists including neurology, genetics, gastroenterology, endocrinology, pulmonology, cardiology, and others.
• Collaborate with child psychologists and child psychiatrists. 7. ADMINISTRATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES • Opportunities for research or academic involvement if desired.
• Participation in departmental meetings and quality initiatives. 8. WORK SETTING & ENVIRONMENT Work Environment: Hospital; Outpatient; Academic/Training Program • Multidisciplinary pediatric environment with access to a broad range of pediatric subspecialties.
• Integrated behavioral health team including psychologists and psychiatrists.
• Access to advanced diagnostic resources and modern clinical systems (generalized per anonymization rules).
• Supportive call structure with a 24 hour nurse advisory system. 9. SCHEDULE & CALL REQUIREMENTS • Flexible scheduling within standard clinical hours.
• Minimal call responsibilities supported by a telephone nurse advisory system. 10. REPORTING STRUCTURE • Reports to the Medical Director or designated clinical leadership. 11. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS • Competitive compensation in the mid six figures range.
