A retail leader is looking for an operationally strong Assistant Manager with a focus on all aspects of store performance and customer care. Assistant Manager Key Activities/Responsibilities Drive sales by engaging both customers and associates Ensure that every associate uses our core values and principles to deliver a positive, friendly, and pleasant experience while exceeding our customers' expectations Train, develop and inspire employees to create a fun and respectful environment Drive store cleanliness, signing, pricing, fully stocked shelves, floor plans, merchandising plans, professional appearance of our team, and how we greet our customers Act as a coach and resource to each store employee to help inspire the success of the store Ensure that all associates are trained in salesmanship, product knowledge, and customer service Support a strong commitment to world-class customer service through the use of excellent service skills by all associates Execute proper staffing of store based on customer shopping patterns, daily sales, and customer service requirements Ensure proper resolution of all associate complaints and other opportunities Other Duties as assigned Assistant Manager Education, Experience, and Skillset HS diploma required Experience in driving sales and achieving sales goals Retail management experience Proven leadership skills, including mentoring, coaching and people management skills Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities Strong communication skills and customer focus Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates, including early morning, night, and weekend shifts.
