Information Security Engineer - Cloud DataGenesis10 is currently seeking an Information Security Engineer - Cloud Data for a hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC or Tysons Corner, VA. This is an 18+ month contract opportunity.This role will support the design, implementation, and optimization of secure, scalable, and high-performance cloud-based data platforms for a Cyber Threat Operations Center (CTOC). The position combines hands-on engineering with subject matter specialization in cloud data storage, data modeling, and data structure design to enable effective cyber threat detection, analytics, and reporting.Responsibilities:Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Information Security EngineeringContribute to large-scale planning related to Information Security Engineering deliverablesReview and analyze moderately complex Information Security Engineering challengesContribute to the resolution of issues and consult with others to meet deliverables while leveraging an understanding of policies, procedures, and compliance requirementsProvide strategic guidance to optimize data structures for analytics, reporting, and application performanceCollaborate with internal personnel in Information Security EngineeringRequirements:4+ years of Information Security Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, or educationExperience with Cloud Data Storage and Data Engineering across Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Microsoft Azure, and AWS environmentsExpertise in data lakes, data warehouses, hybrid architectures, data modeling, schema design, and governanceSolid communication skillsDesired Skills:SQL ServerPowerPointApplication ManagementPay range: $43.59 - $51.59 per hourOnly candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.If you have the described qualifications and are interested in this exciting opportunity, please apply!
