About the Plant Associate Role The Plant Associate will ensure all waste is unloaded from vehicles, the vehicles are decontaminated, and waste is properly staged for scanning and processing. The individual will perform the duties in a safe and productive manner. Pay Rate: $23.50 per hour. Paid weekly. Schedule: Monday – Friday 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Unload waste from incoming vehicles and separate non-autoclavable waste for incineration. Stage waste on the conveyor system or properly stack waste for scanning in the Biotrack system. Scan waste into the Biotrack system for proper record‑keeping purposes. Load autoclave bins or incinerator hopper with waste for processing. Place reusable containers on the tub wash line for decontamination. Operate the tub wash unit, ensuring it functions properly; remove clean tubs, inspect, and stack them for loading onto the assigned vehicle for reuse. Operate the tub wash sprayer for oversized reusable tubs, ensuring proper operation, inspecting tubs, and stacking them for loading onto the assigned vehicle for reuse. Decontaminate the cargo‑carrying portion of vehicles, reload assigned reusable tubs, and ensure the vehicle’s cargo area is free of liquid on the floor; inform the plant supervisor that the vehicle is ready to be moved from the dock area. Ensure housekeeping issues are addressed immediately—clean spills, dings, floor dryness, debris removal, etc. Tackle other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications 1 year of experience, preferably in a plant environment. Physical Requirements This job operates both indoors and outdoors, including in inclement weather, heat, and humidity.
