This is a Contract to Hire opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization! Accession specimens according to the types of requisition received (manual or electronic). Check the patient's name on the specimens and on the requisition to ensure that the patient identification matches. Enter all pertinent patient information into the system, all tests requested/ordered, and any relevant comments. Responsible for disinfecting his/her work station. Separate specimens to the appropriate laboratory department. Qualifications: 1+ Years of experience working in a Laboratory. Additional Information: Location: 2800 Marcus Ave, Suite 103, Lake Success, NY 11042 Shift start & end times: 5pm to 1am evenings Monday to Friday some Saturdays and Sundays Will work take place in a patient's home?
