Laboratory Assistant

Responsibilities Maintaining QC consumables inventory for stockroom. Maintenance and cleanliness of the laboratory, stocking shelves/drawers with supplies as needed. Daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance and cleanliness of equipment, calibrating, or submitting items for calibration as needed. Completing training in a timely manner and maintaining records. Perform QC sample pickup from Quality Inspection or Manufacturing and accurate transactions. Glass washing, dishwashing, and tube rack washing. Prepare documents for storage in our document management system and may manage original data files. Cycle Count of QC materials. Regular maintenance of sample water baths, incubators, refrigerators, freezers. May train on QC test methods to support QC testing as needed. Experience with LIMS and data entry a plus. Good understanding and past demonstration of Good Documentation Practices such as logbooks in a GMP environment. Qualifications Intermediate computer skills. Must be able to use Microsoft Office and ease of use of Outlook, Excel, Word.
