Veterinary Technician - Surgery

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary SX Technician to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in providing high-quality care for animals, assisting veterinarians in various procedures, and ensuring the well‑being of our furry patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for animal care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment. Responsibilities Assist veterinarians during examinations and surgical procedures. Perform animal restraint techniques to ensure safety for both the animals and staff. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for each patient. Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as directed by veterinarians. Monitor the health and behavior of animals in our care. Educate pet owners on proper animal care and health maintenance. Maintain cleanliness and organization within the clinic, including kennels and treatment areas. Support veterinary critical care efforts when necessary. Experience Proficient in animal anatomy and physiology to assist with medical procedures. Experience with animal restraint techniques to ensure safe handling of pets. Familiarity with kennel operations and maintaining a clean environment for animals. Knowledge of veterinary practices, including critical care protocols. Ability to handle dogs and other animals safely and effectively. Previous experience in pet care is preferred.
