Role Overview

As a Cardiac-Vascular Sonographer , you will perform both cardiac and vascular ultrasound studies while supporting providers in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular conditions.

Key responsibilities include:

• Performing cardiac and vascular ultrasound/Doppler diagnostic testing
• Obtaining high-quality images and diagnostic studies
• Assisting physicians and healthcare professionals during patient evaluations
• Ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and imaging standards
• Supporting all aspects of clinical care related to cardiovascular imaging
• Maintaining imaging equipment and ensuring operational readiness
• Providing exceptional patient care and education throughout the testing process
• Maintaining accurate documentation and reporting
• Functioning independently with minimal supervision

Qualifications

Education

Required:

• Technical School completion in Echocardiography, Ultrasound, or related cardiovascular imaging program

Preferred:

• Associate's Degree

Experience

Required:

• Two (2) years of ultrasound experience specializing in both Cardiac and Vascular imaging

Preferred:

• Five (5) years of ultrasound experience

Licensure / Certification

Required:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) OR Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS)
• Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) OR Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS)
• Required cardiac and vascular registry credentials must be obtained within one (1) year of hire if not currently held
