Research Associate/Senior Research Associate

We are a well-funded biotech startup that has developed a suite of proprietary technologies combining ultrahigh throughput single-cell functional screening with computational AI models to advance the development of immunotherapies for cancer and autoimmune diseases. We are currently looking for a research associate to join our interdisciplinary team. The candidate is expected to adapt quickly and communicate well, especially in a fast-paced startup environment. Responsibilities Carry out a variety of cell biology tasks, including mammalian cell culture, virus harvesting, and transfections/transduction of various cell lines. Isolate and engineer primary T cells using different techniques. Perform functional assays to evaluate T cell responses. Assist with molecular cloning tasks including design, PCR, gel extraction, transformation, plasmid preparation, and sequence analysis. Collaborate with team on other experiments when needed. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Biomedical Engineering or equivalent. Skill sets required: molecular cloning, flow cytometry, ELISA, cell line and primary T cell culture, and lentiviral transduction. 2+ years of industry experience. Responsible, accountable, and detail-oriented. Excellent organization and communication skills. Nice to Haves Understanding of T cell immunology. Experience with TCE development. Experience with NGS sequencing and analysis.
