Project Manager I – Transmission / Substation / Line Projects

We are seeking a Project Manager I to oversee projects in electric transmission, substation, and line design/builds connecting data center customers. This role provides single-point accountability under general guidance of a senior PM, managing all phases of project planning and execution. Projects may include low to moderate risk portfolios, requiring leadership across scope, schedule, cost, quality, safety, communications, and integration.

Responsibilities:

• Manage assigned projects from planning through execution, ensuring project success factors are met.
• Lead, guide, and coordinate project teams while maintaining schedule, budget, and quality standards.
• Communicate with stakeholders at all levels, from team members to executive leadership.
• Identify and mitigate project risks; enforce safety and compliance standards.
• Support project documentation, reporting, and progress tracking.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of project management experience.
• Associate degree (or equivalent) in relevant field.
• Working knowledge of project management principles, risk management, decision making, and critical thinking.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively within project teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field.
• Utility industry experience, including electric transmission/substation projects.
• Professional certifications (PMP, CAPM, CMII) or technical utility certifications.
• Knowledge of project scheduling and cost controls.
