We're looking for a part-time/PRN Physical Therapy Assistant — someone who brings clinical skill, genuine warmth, and a collaborative spirit — to join our growing team.

Under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, you'll deliver hands-on patient care that is empathetic, evidence-informed, and culturally responsive. That includes:

Providing physical therapy treatments and assisting in identifying appropriate patients for therapy

Charting accurately and promptly in our EMR system (Prompt)

Collaborating closely with the full interdisciplinary care team

Communicating empathetically with patients, families, and referring providers

Ensuring documentation meets all compliance, insurance, and regulatory standards

(HIPAA, Medicare)

Reporting changes in patient status to the supervising therapist

Participating in department operations, team meetings, and patient outreach activities

Growing your clinical skills through ongoing internal and external professional development

Credential/skill requirements:

Graduation from an APTA-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

An active, unencumbered Illinois PTA license (or eligibility for licensure)

Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills

Comfort working with patients from diverse cultural backgrounds

The ability to interact with all people with fairness, respect, and sensitivity

Willingness to work Saturdays, 9am–2pm

Ability to meet physical demands: lifting over 75 lbs with assistance, prolonged standing, walking, bending, and mobility throughout the day
