Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room

Role Surgical Coordinator responsible for scheduling and coordinating surgical procedures in the operating room. Responsibilities Schedule surgeries in ORSOS, arrange pre- and post-operative appointments, obtain authorizations, and collaborate with clinical teams, medical providers, and hospital staff to ensure timely patient care. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or equivalent, at least 2 years of healthcare OR or customer service experience, proficient PC skills, knowledge of medical terminology, and preferred certifications such as AAS in MOA or familiarity with insurance referrals and HER, Excel, Microsoft Office. Previous OR scheduling experience is a plus. Work Environment Office setting with exposure to equipment cleaning solutions, requiring mobility including walking, standing, bending, and potential patient transport across multiple sites or floors. Fast-paced with frequent interruptions, serving patients of all ages, with HIPAA access levels as specified.
