Product Manager II, Maps 3D and AI

Work with partner teams (e.g., engineers, PgMs, privacy, legal) and clients during product design and development to articulate and ratify product requirements docs.Drive launches, upgrades, maintenance, and retirement in collaboration with other cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Operationalize strategy by defining clear product roadmaps and OKRs.Develop and secure buy-in for a product outlook that identifies, defines, and supports the overall product narrative and direction, achieving an outcome that is greater than the sum of its parts. Validate market sizing and opportunities (e.g., user-based, strategic opportunity, business growth) across your portfolio, by which to prioritize highest-ROI work.Convert 3D geospatial understanding at Google by developing & sharing a strong understanding of the market, academia, and nascent technical capabilities.Minimum qualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.5 years of experience in product management or a related technical role.Experience in AI, computer vision, machine learning, map-making/cartography, or 3D modeling.Preferred qualifications:Master's degree in a technology or business related field.Experience working with research or academia to bring cutting-edge technology to market.Experience liaising with numerous clients and reconciling their needs into a prioritized plan of action.It’s a fascinating time for geospatial understanding. The next generation of maps is being built in 3D and will be a shared canvas for emerging internal experiences and industry solutions that span everything from navigation to public sector planning to environmental science. It will require higher resolution, freshness, and coverage.
