Quick Facts: Location: 2213 Cherry Street, Toledo, OH 43608 Start Date: 08/07/2026 End Date/Duration: Ongoing coverage as needed Shift: 8-hour shifts, weekdays (specific dates: Aug 7 & 9, 2026) Hours/Week: Approximately 40 hours/week Employment Type: Locum/Temporary Licensure & Certs: Ohio medical license, board-certified in OB/GYN preferred Experience: Minimum of [X] years in obstetrics, hospitalist experience strongly preferred Pay & Benefits: Hourly Rate: $19.50/hour Pay Package is discussed upon application Benefits include: Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time per applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable What You’ll Do: Provide OB/GYN care in a hospital setting, primarily labor and delivery coverage Manage low and high risk pregnancies, including C-Section decisions and deliveries Perform obstetric ultrasounds and FHR interpretation Assist with gynecological procedures and surgeries Collaborate with OB residents, nursing staff, midwives, and other providers Document patient encounters accurately in the EPICT EMR system Respond to emergencies such as breech births, multiple pregnancies, and complications What You Need: Ohio medical license and appropriate certifications Minimum of [X] years of OB/GYN practice, hospitalist experience preferred Proficiency in OB procedures, ultrasounds, and high-risk pregnancy management Strong teamwork and communication skills Ability to work independently in a fast-paced hospital environment About the Assignment: This locum opportunity is based at a level III nursery and a Level 4 L&D unit in a prominent hospital in Toledo. The facility features 10 L&D beds, onsite ultrasound services, and a supportive team including residents and nursing staff. The coverage is needed to support staffing shortages caused by upcoming leaves and staffing reductions, with collaboration across departments for optimal patient care.
