Music Director
Location: Luke AFB, AZ
Duties:
- The applicant shall work closely with other choir directors and musicians, and pastoral team to continually upgrade the music library and repertoires used in the service.
- The applicant shall coordinate all support requirements with the Contract Officer, Chaplain, or a designated representative.
- The applicant must play their instrument of choice regularly on Sundays.
- The applicant shall assist the Chaplain in coordinating music by special groups and choirs.
Education & Qualifications:
- The applicant must have the ability to read music and demonstrated accompaniment ability with the piano, organ/keyboard, or guitar.
- The applicant must have Contemporary & Gospel choir experience and be familiar with the flow of Contemporary & Gospel worship styles.
- The applicant must possess a letter of recommendation from an ordained clergy person
- The applicant shall have at least five years of experience playing the piano, organ/keyboard, or guitar.
