About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Recent acute care hospital experience within the past 2 years is required. Minimum of 2 years of emergency department experience is required. License: Oregon nursing license must be obtained. Certifications: ACLS BLS TNCC PALS Must-Have: Willingness to obtain required certifications if not currently active. Description: Within the RN scope of practice as defined by the state board of nursing, applies the nursing process to the care of patients. Teaches patients and significant others about their care. Documents patient care in the medical record accurately. Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to effectively coordinate overall care of the patient.
