Details Work in the Med Surg 3 unit of a hospital setting Night shift schedule, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week 36 hours per week Uses Epic EMR for charting May be required to float to other departments based on competency and business need May be required to take on-call shifts during a regularly scheduled shift Requirements Active RN license (Compact/CO) required Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required, must not expire prior to start ACLS, NRP, or PALS certification required as appropriate for the unit ASN required, BSN preferred Minimum 1 year of experience in the specialty required Epic EMR experience required DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration Additional Information Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with state Board of Nursing standards Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient nursing care Perform health teaching and counseling for patients Provide supportive and restorative therapy directly to patients or through consultation, delegation, supervision, or teaching of others Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines Review and monitor ongoing therapy and treatment plans Refer patients for further evaluation or treatment as needed Former permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for this travel assignment American Traveler Job ID P-746822.
