Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Speech Language Pathologist - Speech Language Pathologist to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and evaluations of patients' speech, language, and communication abilities.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on patient needs.
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate records using the Cerner charting system.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
• Provide education and counseling to patients and families regarding communication disorders.
• Stay current with best practices in speech-language pathology through continuous education.

Qualifications

• Current Speech Language Pathologist license in Arizona.
• BLS (AHA) certification.
• Certified Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) via ASHA.
• Experience in an outpatient care setting preferred.
• Proficiency with Cerner charting system or similar EMR systems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
