Journeyman Electrician – Utility‑Scale Solar (Oklahoma)

Join a growing renewable‑energy team installing large‑scale solar projects across Oklahoma. This role focuses on mounting racking, installing inverters, securing solar panels, and performing basic electrical tasks while ensuring full NEC and OSHA compliance in an outdoor solar‑farm environment.

• Install and secure solar panels, racking systems, inverters, and hardware using hand and power tools.
• Perform basic electrical tasks including grounding, equipment connections, and conduit inspection.
• Bend and install conduit for industrial/utility‑scale solar layouts.
• Read and interpret blueprints, site plans, and electrical diagrams .
• Conduct site measurements and layout checks to ensure accurate installation.
• Maintain a clean, safe, OSHA‑compliant job site.
• Work closely with installation crews, project managers, and inspectors.
• Document completed work for quality and inspection requirements.
• Assist with troubleshooting installation or electrical issues in the field.

• Oklahoma State Unlimited Journeyman Electrician License (required).
• Hands‑on experience with wiring, conduit installation, and equipment connections .
• Ability to install solar panels, racking, and inverters.
• Strong understanding of NEC and local electrical codes .
• Ability to work outdoors in a construction‑style environment.
• Experience reading blueprints and construction drawings .
• Familiarity with hand/power tools and safe work practices.
• Ability to lift, climb, and perform physical tasks in varying weather conditions.

• Utility‑scale or industrial solar installation experience .
• Industrial or construction electrical work .
• Knowledge of solar farm layouts and equipment placement.
• Strong attention to detail for documentation and inspections.

• Steady pipeline of solar projects across Oklahoma.
• Competitive hourly pay + overtime + daily per diem for travel.
• Work with experienced solar and electrical teams in a safety‑focused environment.
• Build long‑term skills in one of the fastest‑growing sectors in the country.

Outdoor solar‑farm settings with exposure to weather, physical labor, heights, and regular use of hand/power tools and conduit benders. Work follows standard construction schedules with overtime available based on project needs.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lawton, OK.

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $55.00/hr.
