Overview Café Ambassador – Streets at Southpoint (Part‑Time) As a Café Ambassador you are the face of Capital One’s mission to change banking for good. You will move throughout the Café, bridging the gap between digital innovation and human connection, and serve as a high‑end service specialist and guide to digital banking. Responsibilities Proactively engage guests in a high‑energy environment that serves as both a community space and a local coffee shop (note: you are a banking guide, not a barista). Act as a brand advocate, sharing the value of Capital One’s products and services through genuine conversation rather than transactions. Guide customers through our digital ecosystem, helping them master mobile tools and troubleshoot tech challenges. Host and support local events that promote financial health within the framework of Capital One’s community partnership programs. Advocate for customers, problem‑solve, and own issue resolution in alignment with compliance and regulatory requirements. De‑escalation of complaints and escalated situations is part of the role. Foster an inclusive environment where every guest feels welcome; collaborate with teammates and adapt to changing priorities. Remain active throughout the day, moving through the Café to connect with the community and support the flow of the guest experience. Support surrounding Cafés within a 50mile radius and assist other locations as needed. Work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays; attend required training sessions on varying schedules. Lift up to 25pounds and stand/stand for extended periods of time. Qualifications High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent. At least 1year of Retail, Sales, or Customer Service experience. Proficient in G‑Suite. Strong written and oral communication skills. Preferred: Associate’s degree. Preferred: 2+years of banking experience. Preferred: 2+years of Retail or Customer‑facing experience.
