What You Will Be Doing

Are you a seasoned Project Controls Manager with a passion for driving efficiency in industrial mechanical construction projects? Our client, a leading contractor in Houston, Texas, is looking for you to join their team.

The Ideal Candidate

• Manage and coordinate Work Package Building Process
• Oversee document control, cost, engineering, scheduling, changes, delay analyses, etc.
• Conduct systems and WP readiness reviews
• Act as liaison between Field Office Personnel, Field Teams, and Corporate Project Teams
• Identify and communicate subcontractor progression issues to Project Management
• Serve as AWP champion for the project
• Ensure execution of all contract Controls deliverables
• Maintain integrations and structure in all systems
• Provide oversight of all Project Controls functions in accordance with SOPs and Contract Requirements
• Coordinate staff needs and manage daily operations
• Identify project progression issues and communicate to Project and Site Management
• Manage and coordinate material expediting from Procurement to Receipt of Materials

Other Essential Functions

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred
• Minimum 5 years of project controls management experience in construction
• Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong understanding of construction scheduling, cost control, and document control processes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
