As a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) at St. Louis Arc, you'll use your expertise to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities through person-centered, evidence-based practices. The Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) is a full-time, salaried/exempt position starting at $60,000 annuallywith a consistent Monday–Friday daytime schedule. What you will do: Design and implementbehavior support plansthatenhance adaptive behaviors anddecreasechallenging behaviors resulting in sociallysignificant consequences for adults with intellectual and/ordevelopmental disabilities Participatein person centered planningand/or treatment team meetings to develop,reviewand update individual plans Observeindividual behavior and completeinitialbehavioral assessments;determineindividual’s progress towards goals andmodifybehavior support plansas needed Develop and deliver training for staff, caregivers, families, and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) on behavior support plans and evidence-based intervention strategies. Provide clinical supervision to RBTs in accordance with agency, state, funder, BACB, and federal requirements. Determinedata needs; developreporting mechanisms for staff use in recording and reporting individual’s behavior Collaboratewith interdisciplinary team to assess individual’s behavior,monitorindividual’s progress, and adjust behavior plans as needed Conductin-service training and workshops which enhance staff and caregiver understanding and ability to provide active habilitation and effective behavioral programming Provide documentation and reports in accordance with agency, funder, professional, state, and federal requirements What you can expect from us: We'll celebrate and empower your unique gifts and contributions while providing the support you need to thrive—both professionally and personally. BCBAs provide clinical supervision to RBTs on their caseload but do not manage staff. What we expect of you: The flexible, respectful individual we see is an innovative and quick thinker with these qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Behavior Analysis or related field or Bachelors Degree in another field with the completion of 225 hours of coursework in a Behavior Analysis curriculum Current Missouri Licensed Assistant Behavior Analyst Two years of experience working with adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities Experience supervising and implementing behavior plans preferred We look forward to welcoming someone with the following knowledge and skills: Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and electronic health records systems Ability to analyze, interpret, and present behavioral and productivity data Comprehensive knowledge of applied behavior analysis and modification principles,theoriesand techniques Knowledge of professional and ethical guidelines and federal and state laws and regulations Understanding intellectual and developmental disabilities and their effect on cognitive and behavioral functioning Ability to develop, explain, and train others on behavior intervention strategies Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment Commitment to ongoing learning and staying current with emerging behavior support practices About St. Louis Arc: The St. Louis Arc is a non-profit organization that provides support and servicestomore than 4,500 people with intellectual and developmental disabilities each year.
