Job Summary Let the good times "rock and roll"! Wild Wing Cafe is hiring a team of individuals in our kitchen area. If you like a cool, upbeat and fun atmosphere to work in, then Wild Wing Cafe is the place! We are currently hiring for Cooks, Food Prep and Dishwashers. Our kitchen is looking for a skilled kitchen staff member to join our existing team. You will be tasked with doing your part to help our restaurant operate as efficiently and effectively as possible. This will require you to be adaptable and willing to do a little bit of everything that our kitchen needs to do its best work. For example, you may be asked to assist with food preparation, clean the kitchen, wash dishes, prepare simple meals, and more. To find success in this role, you will need to be adaptable, hard-working, and willing to take direction. You should also be comfortable with managing competing priorities in a fast-paced restaurant setting. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent ServSafe certification Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not required Knowledge of food safety practices Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team Responsibilities Follow recipes and prepare food items according to established standards Assist in cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment and areas Ensure food is stored and handled properly to prevent contamination Work efficiently to meet customer demands during peak hours Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations Requirements Great interpersonal skills Prepare and cook meals according to recipes Ensure food is prepared in a timely manner Assist with menu planning and meal preparation Maintain a clean and organized work area Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards Ability to learn the computer system/POS navigation All positions are also expected to perform a variety of side work tasks Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment Ability to bend, kneel, and lift items frequently weighing up to 25 lbs Flexibility and availability to work am, pm, and weekend shifts Must have reliable transportation Benefits Competitive pay Flexible scheduling Meal discount Insurance And much more If you are eager to join a growing organization, please send your resume today. #J-18808-Ljbffr Wild Wing Cafe
