Must-Have: Required work setting experience in Adult Critical Care and Emergency Department. Required skills/experience in airway management devices/suctioning, nebulizer use, oxygen therapy, and ventilator management. Cerner experience required. Teaching Client experience, Community Client experience, and Trauma Level I and II experience preferred. Description: This position is for a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) on the night shift. The shift includes four 12-hour shifts from 18:00 to 06:30. The daily patient ratio for nights is 14. The therapist will be responsible for adult critical care and emergency department cases. Duties include endotracheal tube suctioning, extubation, intubation assistance, and managing nasal and oral airways. The therapist will also handle sputum specimen collection and tracheostomy care. Experience with nebulizer administration using hand-held devices, T-Piece, and trach collars is crucial. Oxygen therapy skills must cover bag and mask, high flow nasal cannula, and ventilator management. The therapist may float within scope to meet facility needs. Weekend work is required every other weekend. On-call duties are required as needed for the department. Candidates should ideally have no more than five days of requested time off. Candidates must work two of the three major holidays during the assignment. All required skills and experience must be verified prior to employment. Completion of compliance requirements in a timely manner is essential for the role.
