Overview Big Smiles, a school‑based mobile dental practice, is hiring a Registered Dental Assistant in San Bernardino, CA (must live in Adelanto) to provide dental care to underserved children at schools. Our innovative service offers a workday aligned with school hours, no nights or weekends, making it ideal for working parents and anyone wanting a unique dental environment. Qualifications Active CPR certification. 1+ years experience as a Dental Assistant. 1+ years experience with digital X‑ray imaging. Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, willingness to travel locally. Strong teamwork skills with children and adults. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment; organized, detail‑oriented, multi‑tasking. Capable of carrying up to 50 lbs. Ability to walk several flights of stairs as many schools lack elevators. Coronal polishing certification. Sealant certification. Responsibilities Assist during mobile dental clinics. Perform digital X‑ray imaging. Chart patient records. Set up, break down, and assist with sterilization of equipment. Travel daily to and from school sites. Benefits Evenings, weekends, and summers off.
